Overview

SFSU was granted reaccreditation by WASC in 2001. Since that time, the WASC Standards of Accreditation have shifted from a focus on compliance to the recognition that university quality encompasses issues that occur along a continuum of development. San Francisco State has embraced the new WASC framework in the development and assessment of its strategic plan. This assessment process incorporates both institutional level and program level assessment and creates a loop of continual improvement. The institution is currently in the process of WASC reaccreditation. See the WASC section of this website for all documentation related to this review. The EER visit is scheduled for March 6-8, 2013.
